Current Campaigns

GLATUC and London trades councils support local national and international initiatives and campaign for Palestine against the ongoing genocide in Gaza. It also campaigns against the genocide in Sudan.

London trades councils are building opposition to the far right and have marched with other campaigners such as in Epping, Islington, Whitechapel, and West Drayton. We have been involved in many anti-racism campaigns nationally.

GLATUC and London trades councils campaign vigorously against job cuts, attacks on pay and conditions, against austerity, for public services and opposing the increasing public spending on arms and defence.

GLATUC is affiliated to a number of organisations including the National Pensioners Convention and the London Hazards Centre.

Save the planet – Just Transition

Sustainability and Just Transition

GLATUC has considered the developments during the COP 30 conference which took place in Brazil in November 2025 and was attended by countries that signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 1994. We will campaign for climate justice, a key and urgent issue.
