WELCOME
GLATUC is the trade union council body for London, bringing together trade unionists across the capital. It unites all the 25+trades councils covering the London Boroughs. We campaign for workers in London both at work and in their communities.
The only way to win is unity. We are the mass of society fighting the tiny percentage who control the wealth.
The terms Trades Council and Trade Union Council mean the same. The term Trades Council was used alone until 1990 when the TUC introduced Trade Union Council. However, both names carried on and are used together and mean exactly the same.
What GLATUC does
We campaign for workers in London both at work and in their communities.
How We Work
GLATUC has fought for the interests of London workers, both at work and in the community
